D36 Ari Romer Community Foundation exists to create spaces where young men are seen, supported, and connected.

Why D36 Exists
D36 exists to build spaces where young men can speak honestly, create freely, and find brotherhood without judgment.
Born from a desire to honor Ari Romer’s legacy, the foundation was shaped by parents, residents, and leaders who recognized the urgent need for safe, affirming environments during one of life’s most formative stages.
What began as remembrance became a movement — grounded in empathy, accountability, and collective care.

Our Values
D36 is guided by values that center dignity, respect, and compassion:
- Connection — fostering relationships that reduce isolation
- Compassion — listening with care and without judgment
- Community — building supportive environments rooted in belonging
- Creativity — honoring expression as a pathway to healing and understanding
- Respect — meeting individuals where they are, with empathy and integrity
These values shape every program, partnership, and conversation we facilitate.

Looking Forward
D36 is committed to growing thoughtfully and responsibly — guided by community needs and available resources.
As we expand, our focus remains steady:
strengthening partnerships,
increasing access to safe spaces,
and deepening our impact through connection and care.
The work is ongoing — rooted in presence today and guided by a vision of stronger, more supported young men tomorrow.
Voices Behind the Vision
Behind D36 is a board of dedicated leaders who believe deeply in the power of connection, creativity, and community care. Each member brings lived experience, professional insight, and a shared commitment to building spaces where young men feel seen, supported, and valued.
Our board is not simply a governing body — it is a circle of stewards. They guide strategy, strengthen partnerships, and ensure that D36 remains rooted in its founding purpose: honoring Ari Romer’s legacy through action, compassion, and accountability.
Together, they champion programs that reduce isolation, foster belonging, and open doors to healing. Their leadership helps transform vision into tangible impact — shaping environments where young men can grow with confidence, dignity, and brotherhood.
